AREVA is seeking a Supply Chain Management Lead.  This qualified individual will be responsible for the maintenance and support for specific functionalities defined by the business and supported within SAP.  The Functional/Technical position is a key position during project delivery.  They support the technical designs delivered based on previous experience with the tools. 
 
Functions to be covered by this expert:
  • PP: Master data Management (Routings, Inspection Plans, Work Centers)
  • Engineering change management for PP master data
  • Capacity Planning including graphical planning board
  • Manufacturing Execution:
  • Production order management
  • Quality Management during production
  • Quality Planning
  • Quality Data Recording
  • Management product as-built informationen (IBase)
  • Quality Evaluation / Usage Decision
  • MES integration (e.g. Production Optimization Interface)

The job contains the following activities:

  • Evaluate Change Requests in the areas of responsibility listed above
  • Design functional solution and coordinate those solutions with Business requirements
  • Perform customization in SAP
  • Perform unit tests / assembly tests
  • Solve service desk tickets after the business has attempted the first pass
 
TYPICAL PROJECTS YOUR GROUP MAY WORK ON:
 
During the next 2 years, the known project list includes an upgrade to our existing 4.5 (Fuel Manufacturing System) and 4.7 (Corporate) instances of SAP to ECC6 using a core developed system.  This implementation will include modifications to many of our internal applications and interfaces to SAP.  These interfaces will include those that interface our Manufacturing Execution Systems to SAP for the Fuel sector of AREVA.

The Solution Center 2 support organization within IS, services applications that support finance, project management, and supply chain management including manufacturing.  Generally these organizations use SAP but sometimes there are internal applications with interfaces to SAP that must be supported in order to meet the expectations of AREVA NP.
 
Requests for services come from a variety of communication paths but ultimately reside with the Business Partner who has detailed information regarding the business needs for their specific area.  These requirements are provided to the Solution Center and implemented as necessary.  Most of the efforts within Solution Center 2 involve SAP both functionally and technically.
 
Currently this support center is a global organization and requires coordination with our European counterparts in both France and Germany.

Qualifications
 
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this Project Lead opportunity. 
  • Degree in Business Administration, IS, or related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree, 8-10 years of experience.
  • Functional expertise is needed in SAP, ECC 6, and functional areas listed above.
  • Experience in the product design and discrete manufacturing processes are desirable.
  • Recommended English speaker.

  • A good knowledge of SAP and integration.
  • Experience in the product design and discrete manufacturing processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on "root cause" analysis.
  • Other desired qualifications would include exposure to projects with both US and European participation.
